Subject: xdvik-18d and LaTeX graphics
Cc: feldman@ipxwf1.llnl.gov
I am running xdvik-18d and LaTeX2e (TeX V 3.1415
C version 6.1) on Sun OS 4.1.3
When I use xdvik on a dvi file containing graphics,
the graphics parts of the document are not displayed
and I get an error message:
% xdvi examples
% gs_send: Broken pipe
% ghostscript died unexpectedly.
When the same dvi examples file is run thru dvips and
the ps file is viewed using a separately compiled version of gs,
then all the graphics are displayed just fine. The ps file
also prints just fine.
( the examples.dvi comes from the LaTeX graphics package
installation directory. I specifiy \ExecuteOptions{dvips}
in the graphics.cfg file )
Is there a way to view LaTeX graphics with xdvik?
